No food shortage in Pakistan: minister

Islamabad: Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam on Thursday said that there was no food shortage in the country.

This he stated during a meeting with National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.

Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Ehsanullah Tiwana and Shandana Gulzar were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, issues being faced by farmers during the lockdown and the recommendations on agricultural crops were discussed.

The federal minister claimed that there was no food shortage in the country.
