KABUL: Taliban said they had found no evidence proving Osama bin Laden’s involvement in the 9/11 attacks.
In an interview with an American TV, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that there had been no solid evidence during the past 20 years that suggests Osama bin Laden carried out the 9/11 attacks.
“The US had used the 9/11 attacks as an excuse for war. We have guaranteed that the soil of Afghanistan will not be used against any country, ” Zabihullah Mujahid said.
He said that Taliban were ready to work with the international community.
We don’t want that any of our citizen leave the country and move to the US, he further said.
He said that Afghanistan needs educated people and youth for its development.
“Afghan women are our sisters, we respect them. They should not scared of us. They are free to attend schools, colleges and offices,” the Afghan Taliban spokesperson said.
