However, Siraj-ul-Haq promised to respond after consultation with the party’s executive committee.

Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif called on Jamaat-e-Islami’s Sirajul Haq and discussed the no-confidence motion and political situation.

Sirajul Haq said that there is no doubt that the government had failed in every issue. He told Shehbaz Sharif that change of persons was not the solution to any problem. He suggested to the PML-N president that the people should be consulted. For the new mandate it was necessary to have transparent elections, he added.

The JI chief said that all political parties have agreed on election reforms. Instead of changing individuals, Allah’s system will be better for the country, he added.

Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif said that no-confidence motion was discussed with JI ameer.

During the meeting with Siraj-ul-Haq, Shehbaz presented his party’s as well as other opposition parties’ position.

He said that we want a people’s government. We want a people’s government to come with clean and transparent elections.

Shehbaz added that political parties are persuaded in politics. Nothing is final in politics. PTI’s own people seem to be angry. We are continuing our political efforts. The PML-N’s decisions are taken by Nawaz Sharif. Whatever decision he takes, we will accept that, he added.
