No banned outfit will be allowed to collect donations: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif Thursday chaired the sixth apex committee meeting to review National Action Plan in the province. 

The meeting was attended by Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant general Naveed Zaman, top officials of police department, intelligence officials and government representatives. It was decided in meeting that banned outlets would not be allowed to operate and collect zakat and fitra.

Intelligence based action against militants, their facilitators and financers would be speed up under national action plan. It was also decided to take stern action against banned organization.

On this occasion, Corps Commander Lahore Naveed Zaman expressed satisfaction over progress made on national action plan ad said that facilitators and financers of militants would brought to justice.
