LAHORE: Senior Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that no attempt to save the Sharif family from accountability will succeed and those found involved in plundering the national exchequer would be brought to book.

Talking to media persons here on Sunday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi alleged that the leaders of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were making all-out efforts to save the Sharif family of being held accountable after revelations made in Panama Leaks.

He said PTI will further accelerate its movement for accountability of corruption politicians after September 03, and other opposition parties are also ready to take to streets along with PTI for the purpose.

He blamed that PML-N instead of preferring the national interests and fulfilling the aspirations of the masses who elected it with heavy mandate was engaged in securing party and personal interests of the party leaders which was not in favour of country and people as well.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi warned that PML-N had to face dire consequences if did not change its strategy of preferring personal interests.

He said that PTI in collaboration of opposition parties and masses will continue its constitutional and democratic struggle for accountability of corrupt rulers and recovering the looted national wealth.
