Nisar admits failure to bring ‘change in Islamabad’

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has admitted failures of the government to bring positive change in the federal capital as dacoities and theft incidents are still taking place in Islamabad.

Chaudhry Nisar admitted failures of the government while addressing to the police officers in Inspector General (IG) Islamabad here on Tuesday.

Nisar said that no major change was seen after bringing police institution out of political influences as ratio of dacoities and theft incidents continued in the federal capital.

He announced that Station House Officer (SHO) of the local police station would be arrested after occurrence of any sensitive crime in future while ASP would be suspended by the authorities. He said that no action was being taken against the brothels present in Islamabad.

During conclusion moments of the occasion, Nisar directed police institution to complete full screening of highly-sensitive areas including Bhara Kahu, Sabzi Mandi and Tarnol.
