MULTAN: Nine members of a family carrying a patient from Bhakkar to Rawalpindi in an ambulance were killed when their vehicle collided with a trailer in Mianwali here Monday morning.
Reports reaching here said that the gas cylinder of the ambulance caught fire after collision with the overspeeding trailer, burning to death all nine occupants, including three women and as many children.
Police said that the ambulance was carrying a patient from Bhakkar to Rawalpindi.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to DHQ hospital.
