Nike has unveiled official Ordem V football that will be used in Premier League’s 2017-2018 session.

The transition into the 21st century saw the Premier League move from Mitre to Nike as their ball supplier and they haven’t looked back since.

The new Ordem, bizarrely only the fourth (Nike Ordem 1 never existed), is claimed to have a unique construction which distributes pressure evenly across the ball to ensure an accurate strike.

Goalkeepers are sure to be delighted as Nike’s ‘Aerotrac grooves’ in the surface of the ball are said to ensure a stable flight through the air.

In addition, its ‘Distorted Motion Graphic’ flickers as the ball rotates, supposedly helping players catch sight of the ball quicker and so make rapid decisions as they react to the game around them.

With players now going for £100million and kits almost unrecognisable from a decade ago, England’s top-flight has changed out of all recognition over the course of the last 25 years.
