In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM), Aasiya Andrabi, and her two associates, Nahida Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sofi, were shifted from Srinagar Central Jail to New Delhi by the sleuths of India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), today.

Aasiya Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sofi were lodged in Srinagar Central Jail in false cases registered against them.

The NIA had also registered a fake case against them under the charges of waging war against India. The NIA had filed an FIR against Aasiya Andrabi on April 26, 2018, for advocating freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from India and calling for intensifying the struggle to achieve this objective.

In March, an FIR was registered against the activists of Dukhtaran-e-Millat for celebrating Pakistan Day (23rd March). The video of the event had gone viral on social media. The activists also sang Pakistan’s National Anthem.
