New Zealand’s Kane Williamson joins Hundred Club of Lord’s

Kane Williamson 114 still on crease became 13th New Zealander who cracked century at Lord’s Cricket Stadium against England followed by his countryman Jacob Oram 101 in 2008.

Besides building the record, Kane Williamson hammered 14th century of his Test career on the second day of the match being played with Kiwis’ lead of 24 runs with six wickets remaining in the first inning play here on Saturday.

Another New Zealander Martin Crowe had achieved the feat twice in 1986 and 1994 by scoring 106 and 142 respectively.

Williamson 114 not out faced 217 balls so far and smashed 13 boundaries to cross 100 runs with strike rate of 52.53 and currently standing on crease with Corey Anderson.
