ISLAMABAD: A new spell of rains with thunderstorms will begin in different parts of the country from today.
According to the Meteorological Department, the new spell of rains starting from today in the upper and central parts of the country will continue till Sunday.
Heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Thursday to Sunday may cause landsliding.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Kohat, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to receive rains.
According to the meteorological department, rains are also expected in different districts of Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat and Chaman.
