KARACHI: A new spell of rains will start in Sindh from tomorrow.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon system is likely to enter Sindh from tomorrow and it will rain in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Sanghar from August 31 to September 3.
After the entry of monsoon system, rain is also forecast in Karachi from September 1 to September 3.
The Sindh Disaster Management Authority has issued an alert regarding the arrangements and the concerned agencies of PDMA have been directed to remain alert in view of the situation.
It is to be noted that Islamabad and Rawalpindi received heavy rains yesterday. Several areas of Rawalpindi were inundated, causing severe distress to the citizens.
