ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has reduced the power tariff by Rs2.88 per unit in the country.
NEPRA said that due to the decrease in power tariff people will get Rs24.39 billion relief.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PM Nawaz has promised to end load shading by 2017 for which government is taking huge steps to increase production of electricity.
