ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) increased the tariff on electricity across the country, local media reported on Friday.
The decision has been made by Nepra in order to receive circulatory depts after finance ministry rejected to pay 450 billion.
The masses have to bear reduction in subsidy as well as increase in surcharge brought by the latest decision.
Complying with governments instructions, NEPRA increased the tariff on domestic and on industrial consumers.
