ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has announced to close down educational institutions in some districts of the country till April 11 in the wake of third wave of coronavirus.
Addressing a presser following a NCOC meeting here on Monday, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that the educational institutions would remain closed in the districts where positivity rate of coronavirus is high till April 11.
Earlier, the NCOC had closed the educational institutions in the selected areas from March 15 to 28. However, now the educational institutions in these areas will remain closed till April 11.
Shafqat Mahmood said that all the schools, colleges and universities in the federal capital would also remain closed till April 11.
