ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has announced to close the cinema houses and shrines across the country in the wake of rising cases of coronavirus.
The decision was taken during a NCOC meeting chaired by Minister for Planning Asad Umar here on Wednesday. The meeting reviewed the overall situation of coronavirus cases in the country.
The participants of the meeting suggested a ban on the public gatherings and further tightening of the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the high risk areas.
They also recommended further implementation on the SOPs in the wake of second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
We are awaiting a consensus on the part of all the stake holders to remain safe from any possible big loss, the NCOC said.
