ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has refused to hold a scheduled meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, sources said on Wedenesday.
The refusal to meet with the former president is apparently due to Mr. Zardari’s recent statement in which he said that he can bring the corruption of Pakistan army generals to fore which may force them to apologize before the nation.
Sources said that the PM in his message to the PPP co-chairman maintained that he has a busy schedule and cannot hold the meeting today.
