ISLAMABAD: The Central Council of Pakistan Muslim League-N in an intra-party poll elected Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as unopposed president for next term, here on Tuesday.
The election, held during PML-N’s sixth meeting here at the Convention Centre, was attended by party workers from across the country.
Other office-bearers of PML-N include Raja Zafrul Haq (Chairman), Sartaj Aziz, Saranjam Khan, Nawabzada Changez Khan Murri, Sardar Yaqub Khan Nasir, Imdad Hussain Chandio and Sikandar Hayat Khan (Senior Vice Presidents), Imdad Hussain Chandio, Senator Pervaiz Rashid (Finance secretary), Mushahidullah Khan (Secretary Information).
All office bearers were elected unopposed.
The meeting also passed the resolutions relating to amendments in PML-N Constitution.
