LAHORE: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Shaikh Rasheed claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the biggest threat to the democracy in Pakistan. He added family members of Nawaz Sharif is not supporting him than how parliament members could stand with him?
While talking to media in Lahore, Shaikh Rasheed said opposition political parties will organise an important and historical session on May 02 (tomorrow) to make consensus over Term of References (ToRs) of judicial commission for probing Panama documents.
He said accountability is the soul of democracy while a democratic setup could not move forward without accountability trends.
Praising the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief, Shaikh Rasheed said Maulana Fazlur Rehman is among the sharp minded political personality who is expected to join opposition parties soon.
