ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ordered ministry of water and energy to reduce the duration of load shedding in the holy month of Ramazan.
According to the PM house, Nawaz Sharif has strictly said that the duration of load shedding in the holy month should not exceed 6 hour in urban areas and 8 hours in ruler areas.
Moreover, PM also directs that supply of petrol and LPG should be made available across the country especially in the month.
Nawaz Sharif said uninterrupted fuel supply to power houses would help bring 630 megawatt electricity to the national grid.
He instructed to use Pakistan Railways for the transportation of fuel to power plants.
