Navy chief reviews naval war excercises

KARACHI: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah said the purpose of Pakistan Navy’s ongoing biennial military exercise, Sea Spark 2015, was to continuously monitor the sea limits viewing the recent threats and to review operational readiness of deployed troops and equipments.

He reviewed the military exercises and appreciated harmony between Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force on different levels.

Navy spokesman said the military expertise were displayed during the excercises in which submarine, warships, missile boats and freegates also displayed their performances.

He expressed satisfaction on troop preparations and lauded their professional conduct and dedication.

The navy chief was accompanied by Commander Coast Rear Admiral Syed Bashir Ahmed and Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff Operations, Rear Admiral Kaleem Shaukat.
