ISLAMABAD: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM house in Islamabad.
Matters relating to national security and maritime were discussed in the meeting.
The Naval Chief briefed the Prime Minister about the Indian submarines attempt to enter into Pakistani waters and successful action by Pakistani navy. He also informed the Prime Minister about different projects being under taken to enhance the defence capability of Pakistan navy to secure its maritime boundary.
The Prime Minister appreciated the alertness of the navy for locating the Indian navy. He said the government would be ready to provide necessary resources to make navy a strong defence force.
