Nato to continue its mission in Afghanistan: Official

KABUL: Nato has announced to continue its mission in Afghanistan despite worsening law and order and political situation in the country.

The Nato secretary general, in a statement, called upon Taliban to stop violence and attacks.

He said that capture of government by force would not be accepted.

Meanwhile, after the emergency meeting of the Cabinet Office Briefing Room A (Cobra), UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that a large number of British citizens would be brought back home in the next few days.

He said that those helped in military operations in Afghanistan would also be shifted to the UK.
