LAHORE: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday said Nandipur Power Project would soon be made functional after converting its oil treatment plant to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
He said government had not taken over the Nandipur Power Project on technical ground. He said the government had no objection on any audit.
To a question while talking to a local TV channel, the minister said that daily loadshedding had been decreased from twelve to six hours.
To another question regarding prime minister’s upcoming visit to the US, he said that it would be a milestone in strengthening relations between the two countries.
