LAHORE: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Executive Committee, Najam Sethi, clarified stance of the government by saying that India should obey the agreement for the bilateral series.
Najam Sethi, who heads the PCB Executive Committee, conducted a press conference at the Gaddafi Statium here on Friday. He clearly stated that PCB and the government adopted same stance to urge India for fulfilling agreement to play bilateral series.
While commenting over development in Umar Akmal’s case, Sethi said that the board has cleared the batsman after receiving report of Hyderabad police.
The official added that he had stated earlier regarding inclusion of Umar Akmal in the national squad if he was found clear in the case. He said that Akmal will replace Iftikhar Ahmed in the upcoming T20 series.
