LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has traced 48 bank accounts of PML-N central leader Khawaja Asif.
Significant progress has been made in the assets beyond known income sources and Money Laundering Inquiry against Khawaja Asif.
According to sources, a huge amount of Rs1.45 billion had been deposited in 48 bank accounts of Khawaja Asif. Sources said that all the bank accounts were opened in the name of anonymous institutions of Khawaja Asif and his family.
According to a local TV, Rs223 million was deposited in the accounts of PML-N central leader and former defense minister Khawaja Asif and his family members.
