Peshawar: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday summoned Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman for owning assets beyond known income.
Sources said that the anti-graft watchdog has directed the the JUI-F chief to appear before NAB Peshawar on October 1.
According to the NAB notice, the bureau has evidence and information in support of the charges. Failing to appear before the NAB, a legal action will be taken against the JUI-F chief, the notice warned.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been directed to submit proofs for owning assets beyond known income.
