LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch on Tuesday said National Accountably Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency has about 170 mega corruption scandals.
Addressing to Mansoura training Center, he said to get trust of people, both NAB and FIA should solve these cases as soon as possible. They should investigate corrupts and recover the looted amount.
The people are losing their patience seeing the slow progress of these mega corruption cases, he added.
He further said about 93 percent people are in favour of enforcement of Sharia Law in the country but they are ruled by Western servants.
Criticising the government, he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has hurt the trust of people.
Whatever political party struggle for PM Nawaz’s disqualification, Jamaat-e-Islami will welcome it, JI Secretary General said.
“We are no demanding only accountability of Prime Minister’s family, but form the day one we are demanded accountability of all 470 people named in the Panama Leaks”, he said.
Liaqat Baloch once again cleared that not a single member or worker of party named in corruption or Panama scam.
Commenting on former President Zardari’s arrival, JI Secretary General said he thinks Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman should run party matters from the country.
PPP government should seek forgiveness from Allah and withdraw anti-Islam bill passed by Sindh Assembly, he said criticising government of Sindh.
