SUKKUR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday arrested Farrukh Shah, the son of PPP leader Syed Khurshid Shah and member of Sindh Assembly, from the sessions court.

Recently, Farrukh Shah had applied for a bail before arrest in the Supreme Court in the assets beyond income case. To which, the court ordered the PPP leader to surrender himself to police at the Sukkur accountability court within three days.

Following the apex court order, Farrukh Shah appeared in the court of third Additional and Sessions Judge Sukkur and surrendered to police.

On this occasion, the PPP leader’s lawyer said that his client fully cooperated with NAB in the investigation. NAB had admitted in the Supreme Court that the investigation has been completed. When the investigation is completed, what is the need for arrest?, he questioned.
