NA summons joint session on Kashmir issue

The government has summoned a joined parliament session on Wednesday to discuss Kashmir issue.

During the session today (Tuesday) Opposition leader Khursheed Shah said importance of Kashmir issue is increasing day by day while India is causing some problems for Pakistan as well.

Arch rival has increased pressure on Pakistan over the issue, he added.

He suggested that government should summon joint session on Monday and take opposition in confidence over the issue.

Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chief, Mahmood Khan Achakzai said parliament joint session shouldn’t be reduced to Kashmir issue, it should also highlight other internal and external issue faced by the country.

Federal Law minister Zahid Hamid on the demand of the opposition, summoned a joint session on Wednesday.

On this, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq said only Kashmir issue will be discussed in the session.
