ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Saturday ordered the government to provide security to former NA Speaker Dr Fahmida Mirza.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq directed Secretary Interior and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali for provision of adequate security to Fahmida Mirza and her family.
NA speaker issued directives while responding letter written to him by the Fahmida Mirza and ordered concerned authorities to submit report.
It should be mentioned here that Dr Fehmida Mirza in a letter sent to NA speaker expressed concerns over security arrangements to her and her family.
