ISLAMABAD: Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq announced on Saturday to whole heartedly accept the imminent election tribunal’s verdict over polls rigging in NA-122 constituency.
Sadiq while talking to media said that even if the election tribunal rules against him, he will neither protest nor challenge the verdict in any court of law.
An election tribunal is set to announce today its verdict in the alleged rigging case of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s constituency NA-122 in Lahore.
A petition was filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan challenging the victory of Ayaz Sadiq in the 2013 general elections.
