MYC to observe July 8 as protest day

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan deputy chief and President Milli Yakjehti Council, Sindh President Asadullah Bhutto has announced that the council would observe the anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani’s martyrdom as a protest day on July 8th.

Talking to reporters after a meeting of the council, Asadullah Bhutto said that the council has rejected the United States’ decision to declare Hizbul Mujahideen Supreme Commander Syed Salahuddin as global terrorist.

The MYC demanded of the government to shun the policy of supporting Indian interests and come forward openly for completion of the agenda of subcontinent’s divide.

Asadullah Bhutto Advocate also condemned terrorist attacks in Parachinar. He hailed the visit of Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Jawed Bajwa to the area and demanded of the government to take strict action against terrorists. He urged the masses to get united against terrorism.

Talking about the Ahmedpur Sharqia tragedy, he held the government responsible for deaths of people.
