MYC vows supporting security forces to foil any aggressive move against Pakistan

LAHORE: The Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC) on Wednesday announced that it would stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces against enemy aggression.

The announcement was made by the newly elected President of the MYC, Sahibzada Dr Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, at a press conference at Mansoora after the MYC elections.

He further said that India’s threats and atrocities on the Kashmiris had been fully exposed. He said the martyrdom of Burhan Wani had infused a new spirit among the kashmiris.

He however said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had committed a blunder by not presenting the solid evidence of India’s involvement in the form of Kal Boshan’s arrest during his address before international community. He said India was staging new drama every other day whereas Pakistan failed to present irrefutable proof of Indian plans to the world.

Liaqat Baloch had been re-eleted as MYC Secretary General. Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, has been elected senior vice President of the council, Other office bears elected include Maulana Amajd Khan, Hafiz Abdur Rahman Makki, Syed Haroon Gilani, Syed Niaz Husain Naqvi, Hafiz Aakif Saeed, Maulana Allah Wasaya, Pir Abdur Rashid Naqshbandi, Allama Ameen Shahedi, Eng. Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer and Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar Ropari a vice presidents.

JI Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq, while addressing newsmen, said that it was a happy moment that the religious leadership of the country stood on one platform. He said that Pakistan was an ideological state and its defense was a sacred duty.

He announced that if India dared to stop river water flowing into this country, it would be treated as beginning of the war. And in case of Indian adventure, India would have to face a defeat worse than that of the 1965.

Sirajul Haq said that several separatist movements had been going on in India as Tamils, Sikhs and Dalits were demanding autonomy. He said that not only Kashmir would get freedom, but a new Pakistan would also emerge inside India.

He said the MYC also decided to raise voice against corruption from mosques and seminaries as Pakistan and corruption could not go together.

Sirajul Haq said “We want the enforcement of the Nizam e Mustafa,” added that “We don’t believe in a democracy which seeks guidance from London and Washington. He said that the Quaid e Azam had clearly stated that the country’ constitution would be in line with the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.

The MYC criticised the policy for the return of the Afghan refugees and said this would annul the sacrifices made by Pakistan and its people for the Afghans during last three decades.

The MYC chief slated the presentation of obscene material from the media. He said that all attempts to alter the educational system and the syllabi under the dictates of US and Europe would be foiled.
