Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander In Chief of Defence Services Myanmar called on General Rashad Mahmood, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif in separate meetings.
General Min Aung Hlaing and CJCSC General Rashad Mahmood in a meeting discussed matters related to professional interest and mutual cooperation between the two Armed Forces, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released said on Thursday.
While being briefed on security perspective of Pakistan the visiting dignitary appreciated the professionalism and sacrifices rendered by the Armed Forces of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services is heading a high powered delegation, the visit is part of bilateral measures to enhance cooperation between the two Armed Forces.
Earlier on his arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters he was presented a guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent of tri-services.
Moreover, General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander In Chief of Defence Services Myanmar, visited General Headquarters today and called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
During the meeting, matters of professional interest, military to military relationship and defence cooperation were discussed.
