Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi jailed for four years

Myanmar’s junta has granted four-year imprisonment to Aung San Suu Kyi for incitement against the military and violating the Covid rules.

A government spokesman said that the penalty is first of a series of possible punishments, which could see Aung San Suu Kyi imprisoned for decades.
