KARACHI: Khawar Fareed Manika, the husband of PTI chief’s faith healer Bushra bibi, on Sunday claimed that his married life had been running smoothly until Imran Khan became a spiritual disciple of his wife three years ago.
Speaking to Local TV, Manika, a senior customs official, said that he had divorced Bushra Manika three months ago and the PTI chief had proposed her former wife after her period of waiting (Iddat) was over.
He said that he was leading a happy married life over the past 30 years but it started ruining when Imran Khan became his and her wife’s spiritual disciple three years ago.
“I had divorced my wife over disturbance caused by domestic issues after the PTI chief became spiritual follower of my former wife.” Manika said.
He said that he had three sons and two daughters from Bushra who is currently living with her parents in Lahore.
