SA 248 all out after Mustafizur magic

CHITTAGONG: South Africa were all out courtesy of brilliant spell of Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman on day 1st of first Test.

Mustafizur Rahman took four wickets on his debut match and destroyed South African batting. The young pacer also had a dream debut against India picking up 11 wickets in two matches.

Bangladesh struck early in the inning after the visitors won the toss and elected to bat. Stiaan van Zy who was batting on 34 runs lost his wicket courtesy of Mahmudullah.

But Faf du Plessis and Dean Elgar made 78 runs partnership to help the side to post 136 on loss of two wickets. Following Elger’s wicket who made 47, Du Plessis also departed after scoring 48.

Hashim Amla’s bad form continues as he was once again dismissed on a low score. He made 13. Temba Bavuma showed some resistance against Bangladeshi bowling. He scored 54 for the visitors.

South Africa were all out after scoring 248 runs.

Mustafizur Rahman picked up four wickets while Jubair Hossain bagged three wickets.
