KARACHI: Former Mayor Karachi Mustafa Kamal in a dramatic press conference revealed why he and Anees Qaim Khani left Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and and also shed light on his future course of action.
“After 2013, ever since we said farewell to MQM, this is our first briefing to media,” said Kamal.
Referring to the many resignation presented by the MQM supremo, Kamal said the even the media doesn’t remember how many times Altaf Hussain has resigned as party chief.
During 2008 to 2013 MQM left government four time and rejoined it again and again, Mustafa said.
“In 2013, for the first time a non-Urdu speaking party, PTI, received numerous votes in MQM strongholds,” he said.
“I this that MQM Chief Altaf Hussian might lean from his mistakes which the party made during its tenure,” he said. “But instead of learning MQM supremo continue to make mistakes and started critising innocent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women protesting at Teen Talwar.”
Altaf not only use abusive language against PTI women but also abused and humiliated MQM’s Rabta Committee in hours and minutes, he added
MQM chief abuses in the night and tenders apology the very next morning, he said.
The MQM supremo drank heavily and bluffed while he was in that state of mind, he claimed.
Altaf Husain doesn’t care for any human being’s life, former mayor said.
Mustafa Kamal, “At the time of leaving MQM, I knew that there were threats to my life.”
“I knew boys from Indian and South African ‘setups’ were involved in killings in Karachi,” Mustafa Kamal.
Everyone knows that Altaf Hussain has ties with Indian spy agency RAW, he said.
Including former interior Minister Rehman Malik and all Rabita Committee members everyone knew MQM’s connections with RAW, he claimed
He further said Altaf Hussain continue to tell lies again and again.
Mustafa Kamal asked, “Did we made sacrifices to turn 10 to 12 people, including Altaf Hussain, into billionaires.”

MQM workers were not originally from RAW, but were made to work for the Indian spy agency, Mustafa Kamal said.
