Muslim Americans facing enhanced inspection, questioning at US airports: CAIR

FLORIDA: The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has said that American Muslims returning to the country are facing enhanced questioning and secondary inspection.

Hassan Shibly, the CAIR, Florida, chief said that in the last two weeks American Muslims (having US nationality) are being subjected to secondary inspection and additional questioning at the US airports on return from abroad.

He was of the view that over 50 percent of the passengers held back at the airports for hours for questioning are Muslims.
