QUETTA: Judicial Magistrate has sent Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani on 14 day physical remand under National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) custody on Saturday.
Raisani has been accused of embezzling billion of rupees from local government development funds. He was an influential bureaucrat in Balochistan. He is serving as secretary finance for the last five years.
The secretary was presented before the judicial magistrate where NAB officials told the court the accuse has misused used his powers and cause damage to state budget.
It is pertinent to mention here that, NAB on Friday arrested Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani and recovered more than Rs630 millions currency notes, jewelry and prize bonds worth millions of rupees.
