WASHINGTON: The United States has released a confidential report on the Jamal Khashoggi murder case.

The report revealed that the assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi was sanctioned by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Reuters reports that the United States has decided to ban 70 Saudi nationals, including senior Saudi intelligence officials.

According to the report, the US will not impose sanctions on Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.

Banned officials will not be able to travel to the US and their assets in the country will be confiscated.
