KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) former Aamir Syed Munawar Hassain has said that the holy month of Ramazan spreads the message of philanthropy and the struggle against social evils.
He expressed these views while delivering a Friday sermon in a mosque at North Nazimabad area of Karachi. The JI leader said that our society has become filled of miseries and sorrows. He urged people to help those in need and said that the month of Ramazan urges the followers of Islam to bring more piousness into their life.
He stressed the need to act upon the commands and teachings of Allah Almighty, preached by the Holy Quran. The JI leader said that we should keep ourselves with those who are enjoying the blessings of this holy month of Ramazan.
