JAIPUR: A senior Congress leader has termed the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) a victory for the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Jaipur Literature Festival, Shashi Tharoor said that in case the NRC and NPR are implemented in the country following the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act then it would be a success for the founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
With the implementation of CAA in India, Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s theory of separate country has already won, the senior Congress leader said.
