ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday reassured Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) that the Karachi operation is only against criminals and not against any political party.
An MQM delegation met the PM here to discuss the issue of mass resignations which they tendered from both the houses of parliament and Sindh Assembly.
“A democratic government established military courts with the approval of parliament and the Supreme Court approved it”, the PM told the MQM delegation.
Nawaz maintained that people of Karachi and Pakistan have appreciated the operation and will result in establishing complete peace in the economic hub.
