LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has urged federal government to call a meeting of experts from all four provinces to resolve Sindh’s reservations over Kalabagh Dam.
While addressing to a meeting at MQM London secretariat he said that water and power crises had increased the miseries of people in Pakistan. He said that more than one thousand people have been died of heat stroke in Karachi.
Altaf expressed his sorrow that the government and opposition were blaming each other on the casualties.
He urged philanthropists to come forward and provide water bottles, ORS and necessary medicines at Heatstroke Centers.
