Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman thrashed claims of arch rivals saying that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will boycott local government (LG) election but not the Jamaat-e-Islami as forthcoming results will change fate of the metropolis Karachi tomorrow.
Hafiz Naeem addressed a joint press conference with leaders of coalition partner Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday at Idara Noor-e-Haq. JI Karachi Chief reacted statement of MQM’s Farooq Sattar saying that JI and PTI will not boycott the LG election at any cost.
He said that MQM is worried over political coalition of JI and PTI while tomorrow’s election will change fate of the city.
Moreover, PTI leader Imran Ismail demanded ECP for military deployments across the city. PTI leader Ali Zaidi also demanded military deployments inside each polling station besides strict monitoring under military officials for supplies of electoral material.
