KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) co-ordination committee announced late Friday night that their party leaders’ resignations from both the houses of parliament and Sindh assembly are final.
In the statement issued after consultation by MQM’s Karachi and London Rabita Committee stated that Prime Minister Pakistan’s attitude regarding the issue was “arrogant and threatening” during his visit to Karachi.
MQM opined that the PM and ruling elite have not valued the role of JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman’s mediating efforts over the issue and now Fazlur Rehman need not worry as all MQM makers shall be taken by the government as “resigned”.
The party says it will temporarily abandon parliamentary politics and focus on the “establishment of a province and welfare activities.”

Maulana Sb, thank you for your genuine role of a mediator, but now MQM is not interested to discuss the return to assemblies anymore.
