KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday said unjustified arrest of MQM Rabita Committee member Muhammed Kamal was injustice and cruelty.
The statement issued by MQM media cell said Kamal was innocent and honorable person of his area.
‘Muhammed has been town mayor of Gulberg Town. He is not well and suffering from liver problem,’ the committee said after he was arrested by Rangers from his residence in North Nazimabad.
The personnel of the law enforcement agency raided at a house in North Nazimabad and detained Kamal Malik in early morning.
MQM leader Wasay Jalil has confirmed the arrest of their member, adding Malik was arrested from his residence.
