KARACHI: Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Sindh Police Malir Rao Anwar made shocking revelations about Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) linkage with India’s primary intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
SSP Rao Anwar conducted press conference in the metropolis Karachi on Thursday (today) after claiming to arrest two high-profile terrorists belonging to the top mandate holding political party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
‘The arrested terrorists belong to MQM and get arms’ training in India by its prime intel agency RAW,’ the police officer revealed.
Arrested terrorists were identified as Tahir alias Lamba and Junaid, he said. During the press conference, SSP Anwar levelled serious allegations over MQM leadership.
He alleged that both persons were government employees and trained under supervision of Indian intel agency RAW while both were getting direction directly by prominent personalities holding posts in higher leadership of MQM like Muhammad Anwar and Nadeem Nusrat.
The terrorists were trained experts of explosives and weaponry while MQM worker of each sector received arms training in India and the criminal network comprising of 60-70 persons. He alleged that the terrorists usually landed India en route Bangkok and entered back into Pakistani boundaries via Lahore.
SSP Anwar said police department has managed get remand of the criminals till May 13, 2015.
During the press meeting, the police officer demanded imposition of ban on MQM over his anti-Pakistan activities as the political party was more dangerous than banned militant outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Evidences could be shown for continuing criminals activities via funds transferred with bank accounts of MQM-administered welfare organisation Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF).
